well that was… sweaty lol

we spent the weekend of a massive heatwave in a nightclub sweating from places we didn’t know we could sweat.

we gave out over 300 zooper doopers and most importantly the guys in melrose avenue came down for their first ever live show, bringing the heat to the decks with a custom hour long emo mix and cover set. vlad joined us on the mic, belting out the highest notes and the longest bleghs. it was literally insane.

after that set everyone was legit dripping in sweat so the drinks started flowing and we welcomed our resident ENS djs to the stage and cells to bring it home.

in main room we had moxxy, haylz and harlan playing all of our anthems and emo bangers. there was crowd surfing, shoulder rides and i cannot stress enough the pool of sweat. it was chaaaaaaoooossssssss but we would be nothing without it, eh?

the cells had an absolute clinic with cloxic stealing al’s usb and playing songs to an empty room until he took over. it was a blue light smoky sweaty haze. almost like a berlin club but in our lil old jail cells. after that debz dungeon began, with all the local heavy hitters like parkway drive and northlane until close.

bloopers:

• vlad from melrose avenue disconnected the dj decks and stopped the music hahaha

• jerry and moxxy were doing a vs. set on open and couldn’t mix a single song without fucking it up but it filled the dancefloor so maybe bad mixing is goated

• ben spent 20 mins putting a flag up only for claire to tell him it needs to go outside… 10 minutes before open

• haylz tripped up the steps and face planted, still has an egg on her knee 5 days later

• there was a cowboy hat doing the rounds in photos. we don’t know where it came from????
